Ok…..Jackie is right- I would not Survive on Survivor! I would be dead Ha Ha

I will survive with Gloria Gaynor! Lol 🙂 My Karaoke theme song! Too bad no singing here. Julie had an early work call, which I was happy for- gave me more time in bed. We jumped up and got to breakfast in time today. Best mushroom cheese made to order omelette, with fresh fruit and finally good coffee. We both inhaled our breakfast as we needed to get to the Water Sports area to sign up for the Iguana Island sail trip- first come first serve. Good thing its Covid- this place is a ghost town today. We signed up for a 11:30 am sailing lesson the trip will start at 1:30 if wind is favorable. We see Marvelous Max on the beach…..I left out yesterday that he was a rico suave rasta farian dude and tried to convince us he could handle 2 girls at a time. In a sexual way….Max is a happy guy!! Lol Silly dude!

The crazy thing is everyone thinks we are sisters. This compliment makes my day as some have inquired who is older….omg! Ever since a person in Tucson asked if I was Julie’s grandma I have been scarred, someone today asked if she was older? Really come on…..she is a spring chicken baby. I got SO excited though, it was a real treat to my ego! They all say they can tell we are related. We are constantly explaining our mom and dad being siblings. People think it is beautiful and extra special that we are so close enough to travel like this, I cant agree more!! Blessed is an understatement! My soul sister!!

Since we were denied real sailing  due to the wind, given only a “theory lesson” on the sand, we opted to go kayaking and paddle boarding again. Julie paddle boarded and I kayaked. My new favorite sport. If we had a lake nearby I would kayak daily. The kayaking today was crazy colors of waters….from the normal turquoise to emerald green , these seas are beyond magical. The best part is Charley….. omg, this sexy 30 yr old man is the guy we talk to constantly about any water sport activities. He reminds me of the balinese men Steph and I met on the beaches of Amed. He is a gentle hot guy from Mexico City. He worked at 4-5 other CM properties….has left the accounting industry to experience the greatest pleasures if life.  I say do it while your young, because the opportunities disappear.

We got pina colada’s as our first drink of the day, in honor of Catherines grandma. We enjoyed our relaxing morning reading our books in the lounge chairs submerged in the water, My absolute favorite. We met a lady in the pool, named Diane. She is in her 60’s-70’s, married 25+ years, lives in Ohio and here for 3 weeks. They have been coming for 25+ years. Said they love it here SO much. We inquired how they met….she shared that it was like a lightening strike, a special. Magical moment. He is the love of her life. They are so cute! So sweet and in love! She said he is the greatest guy, they are both attorneys, he is now a judge. According to her, the best judge.  They both already had Covid, and recovered from it with minimal symptoms that they feel good about  travel. Interesting that this is usual  topic. 2021 here we come!!

To elaborate on Julies Epiphany, it was about her buying a beach house in CT, instead of renting an apartment after leaving the city. Great idea, that Jared is already negotiating for her. Blessings, manifestations,, all is for the good! Who knows what is in store for our futures, none of us, really!!! The guy from my Ixtapa 2011 CM Trip is here. Blair from my other trip……what a small world. I approached him at lunch and sure enough its him, crazy small world! He is living in Indiana still, a substitute teacher and poet on the side, a true entertainer. Was telling us about the meaning of yenta/magenta…oy ya oy 😉

We finished lunch and headed back towards the sailing area, after our reading relaxation and all the food. We entered Charley World- holy hottie! We are both in love with this Charming Leo Charley from Mexico City! His accent and sex appeal is insane! Like out of a movie! We will spend a few hours out at sea with him.

So there are these women who walk/clean the property. Jeanna we love, she wears leopard sneakers and is a heavier African american girl, she had a twin in my opinion…..Amoinate who Jules wont let me find out if Im correct,

We then got the green light on sailing….Charley is our instructor- holy moly!! We had the best day! Julie learned how to sail, almost de-capitated our Co-Captains head. The hottie Charley, shared with us his life story. We had a wonderful bonding time. She sat next to him, while he showed her the moves and taught her how to feel the wind. It was a glorious day out. I got to lay down in the middle of the boat for a great sunset and to enjoy the strong winds, with Julie leading us.

Oh boy, I jumped all over the place as we were intoxicated last night. My apologizes for this entry, trying to finish up before a new day starts. I will be drinking ZERO alcohol today and ONLY water. Just waking up and don’t feel so good. Julie stayed out later last night. It was the Rum Rd party that did it to me…..shots of Rum all the way to the party. Im getting too old for these activities. Im a day time girl! Not sure how all these other people can party at their ages. BTW- CUJ can you please join back the conversation on the text, Pretty Please!

Bottom line……we are making lots of friends and having a great time. I highly recommend a Club Med vacation for all! The Turks ocean and sunsets are dreamy!

Love me xo xo

Sounds like a private party everywhere you go… some day when Covid is just another flu, you’ll go back there and won’t be able to navigate the crowds, and talk about how empty the Covid Turks was this week. Just H2O! Might as well get Mud Slides and grilled cheese sandwiches. Continue to enjoy your stay. LCUJ
